As a community services worker, you will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals or a group of individuals. As a worker you may also have the responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management; program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.
Being part of Case Management, you may be responsible for assessing the co-existing needs of clients with varied abilities and disabilities including developing, facilitating and reviewing all aspects of case management or may be responsible for providing case management supervision.
Being part of Inspire & Learn, as a student studying CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services you will also be able to gain knowledge on assessing the needs of the client(s) with alcohol and other drug issues while also build your understanding of working with people with mental health issues.
