CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
Entry Requirements:
Online study with work placement
All candidates must be aged 18 years or over at the time of applying for admission to Inspire & Learn.
Pre-Enrolment Interview, language literacy numeracy & Digital Literacy Test:
You will be required to complete the Pre-Enrolment Interview, LLN & Digital Literacy Test prior to course commencement.
Supervised Practical Placement Agreement (3 party agreement) :
You will be required to complete 120 hours of workplace training/work placement in a regulated education and care service.
Duration of training:
Approximately – 10 months can be self-paced up to 12 months
54 weeks (inclusive of 120 hours of supervised work placement/ workplace training)
Approx. 21 hours of the weekly study

After completing this course, you will receive the nationally endorsed CHC33015 - Certificate III in Individual Support. You may also choose the specialisation based on the choice of electives we offer.

Vocational Placement for students studying online or work-based:
All students must complete at least 120 hours of work placement as part of this Certificate III qualification, even if you are employed in the Age Care/ Disability industry. Inspire & Learn Assessor will work closely with you at the placement time to assist and guide you in choosing the right age care facility/ community/respite care setting.
Students must hold mandatory COVID 19 vaccination and must hold NDIS screening.

First Aid Courses Information: When you undertake a qualification with Inspire & Learn, the First Aid courses are not included in the course fee. The First Aid unit is offered by Inspire & Learn in Victoria only, every student must pay for the first aid course unit. The student has the choice to either study at our location where they are required to attend classroom training and must be physically present for the required length of chosen first aid course. If the student cannot attend at our location in Victoria, then the student can choose to attend with any other training provider the approved first aid unit which is listed in their qualification at their own expense, (The first aid units cannot be completed through distance mode and requires a face to face class to be undertaken successfully in order for students to achieve competency in the first aid unit). Inspire & Learn will provide credit transfer once the relevant first aid unit is completed. We recommend choosing the right first aid unit code before enrolling and we encourage you to also check with your trainer before you enroll.
