Overview:
CHC62015 - Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management at Inspire & Learn to help you achieve your career goal. Studying the Advanced Diploma qualification, students will engage in gaining the knowledge and skills required to manage and hold responsibility of operating the entire early childhood service. There are 13 units of study in this qualification covering topics such as:
• Developing, implementing and evaluating quality frameworks and business plans
• Managing legal and ethical compliance
• Effective recruiting, coaching and performance management of staff
• Leading, coaching and mentoring a staff team
• Working to a business model
• Government regulations and quality frameworks
• More complex responsibilities, such as complaints, risk assessment, change management and finance
Inspire & Learn offers the following modes of study to choose from: Full Time
Online study with no work placement, however they need to be working in the industry at supervisory level.
Inspire & Learn also offers Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer (RPL and CT) for students upgrading their qualifications.
Entry Requirements for CHC62015 - Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management:
• All candidates must be aged 18 years or over at the time of applying for admission to Inspire & Learn.
• You must be employed in a management role in the community sector such as
- Area Manager, Service Manager / Centre Director or Second in Charge. or
- Working as a 2IC - second in charge, coordinator, educational leader you will need to have employer support to be able to complete a range of tasks within the workplace.
- working in the management and leadership position within the community setting.
• You must also hold a qualification relevant to work in the community sector or have sufficient experience and knowledge of community work or service.
• You must have good numeracy and literacy skills including a sound understanding of legislation, practices and standards applicable to the overall operation of an ACECQA approved children’s service.
Pre-Enrolment Interview, LLN & Digital Literacy Test:
You will be required to complete the Pre-Enrolment Interview, LLN & Digital Literacy Test prior to course commencement.
Duration of training:
12 month – 14 months

First Aid Courses Information: When you undertake a qualification with Inspire & Learn, the First Aid courses are not included in the course fee. The First Aid unit is offered by Inspire & Learn in Victoria only, every student must pay for the first aid course unit. The student has the choice to either study at our location where they are required to attend classroom training and must be physically present for the required length of chosen first aid course. If the student cannot attend at our location in Victoria, then the student can choose to attend with any other training provider the approved first aid unit which is listed in their qualification at their own expense, (The first aid units cannot be completed through distance mode and requires a face to face class to be undertaken successfully in order for students to achieve competency in the first aid unit). Inspire & Learn will provide credit transfer once the relevant first aid unit is completed. We recommend choosing the right first aid unit code before enrolling and we encourage you to also check with your trainer before you enroll.
