CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification will gives you a starting point to enter the child care industry, in many settings like child care, family day care, out of school care, occasional care and long day care. The CHC30113 Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (childcare course) is the minimum entry requirement for employment.

Studying the course will help you support the children in their everyday learning milestones such as learn to draw, paint, write, sing, dance, being team player, communicate with peers along with healthy eating and sleeping habits, it will also help you understand the industry standards to meet the compliance requirements as outlined in the National Quality Framework. While you will work with children or volunteer at your local child care facility you will learn to support their ideas, strengths, abilities and apply principles of secure respectful and reciprocal relationships via a range of learning environments, respect for diversity. You will also help children build their identity, effective communication skills and learn to interact positively and apply genuine interactive methods to comply with the education and care services national law and regulation.

As part of the course, you will get enhanced learning opportunity to learn and apply the nationally recognised approved learning frameworks in the context of child care by using and understanding the Belonging Being Becoming or the Early Years Learning Framework and also the framework for School Age Education and Care – My Time Our Place into practice along with gaining essential knowledge of critical reflections and ways to apply ongoing assessment practices.

Flexible study options available to students allow them to work with dedicated trainer support 7 days a week, you will receive ongoing regular training from Inspire & Learn trainers who specialize in training the early childhood education and care qualification and are current in their industry of child care holding the right level of skills and knowledge to guide you through the learning outcomes of each unit of study.

National Quality Framework for Early Childhood

Certificate III qualification in early childhood course will teach you the requirements of the National Quality Framework including the operational requirements and the Seven Quality Areas required by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority ACECQA.

Additionally, you will equip yourself with knowledge & skill on topics like

· Supporting & building relationships with children and families from diverse background

Offers 2 modes of study to choose from: Full Time

Face to Face – Work based / Employment based & Online study with work placement

Inspire & Learn also offers Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer (RPL and CT) for students upgrading their qualification.

Entry Requirements:

Pre-Enrolment Interview, language literacy numeracy & Digital Literacy Test:

You will be required to complete the Pre-Enrolment Interview, LLN & Digital Literacy Test prior to course commencement.

Supervised Practical Placement Agreement (3 party agreement) :

You will be required to complete 120 hours of workplace training/work placement in a regulated education and care service.

Duration of training:

Approximately – 14 months can be self-paced up to 18 months

57 weeks (inclusive of 120 hours of supervised work placement/ workplace training)

Approx. 21 hours of weekly study

Qualification and recognition

After completing this course, you will receive the nationally endorsed CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Vocational Placement for students studying online or work based:

All students must complete at least 120 hours of work placement as part of this Certificate III qualification, even if you are employed in the early childhood industry the placement with the right age group of children from birth to 5 years of age is compulsory.

Inspire & Learn Assessor will work closely with you at the placement time to assist and guide you in choosing the right early childhood service in a regulated education and care setting also called the ACECQA approved early childhood service.

First Aid Courses Information: When you undertake a qualification with Inspire & Learn, the First Aid courses are not included in the course fee. The First Aid unit is offered by Inspire & Learn in Victoria only, every student must pay for the first aid course unit. The student has the choice to either study at our location where they are required to attend class room training and must be physically present for the required length of chosen first aid course. If the student cannot attend at our location in Victoria, then the student can choose to attend with any other training provider the approved first aid unit which is listed in their qualification at their own expense, (The first aid units cannot be completed through distance mode and requires a face to face class to be undertaken successfully in order for students to achieve competency in the first aid unit). Inspire & Learn will provide credit transfer once the relevant first aid unit is completed. We recommend choosing the right first aid unit code before enrolling and we encourage you to also check with your trainer before you enrol.
