School Age Education and Care
School Age Education and Care qualification gives you the edge of working around specifically school children before and after school and during vacations.
School-age education and care also sometimes called outside school hours care qualification, prepares you to implement play, recreation, and leisure programs for children of school age.
By studying this qualification, you will gain knowledge and skills to support the behavior of children and young people while also meeting their holistic needs. Additionally, you will also learn to implement strategies to bring in inclusive practices. As part of school-age education, you will also learn to work collaboratively and respectfully with school-age children while assisting them to build participation in learning experiences and skill development. As a School-Age Educator, you will be able to provide an opportunity to build on the school-age children’s existing learning abilities while catering to positive and responsible behavior management within your scope of work.
At Inspire & Learn you will gain the opportunity to choose between online study mode with a work placement or a work-based training opportunity. You will also have an opportunity to develop hands-on skills by participating in activities and playgroups run by Inspire & Learn which will assist you in building your true understanding of the course components and applying these confidently practically.
